Playtech have released some excellent slot machines since 2008's ground-breaking
Gladiator slot
and the Marvel slots series are now their flagship games. They aren't all great games mind you: Blade, Elektra and more recently
Ghost Rider are a tad on the boring side but the new
Avengers slot is a decent game and pretty clever actually.
It rather logically draws on several of the previous Marvel slots and the characters like Thor, Hulk, the Fantastic 4
and
Iron Man appear in the Avengers along with Captain America. Each one has it's own
free spin feature, a little reminiscent of Fantastic 4 I guess but if luck is on your side, you can trigger several of them
in one hit!
I've played most of the features at least once now and the best one in my opinion is Thor's free spins which awards extra sticky wilds
before each of 9 spins. The most boring seems to be Hulk with it's centre reel wild or Captain America with a revolving
multiplier which you can't speed up!
But overall though the Avengers slot machine is probably Playtech's best release for some time (recently their games have
been a little disappointing in my opinion). Well worth a spin and were I to hazarad a guess, I would say that the Avengers
will become of the most popular
slot machines on the GSM website in time. It has a lot of variation and definitely
succeeeds in keeping you interested.
